Michaela Semenick
About
Michaela obtained a Bachelors of Kinesiology Degree at Acadia University in Nova Scotia. During this time, she developed exercise programs for older adults within the community in one of the Kinesiology courses that was offered as well as volunteering with the university's renowned S.M.I.L.E. Program throughout her time at Acadia. This program was developed to encourage people with disabilities of all ages to engage in physical activity.
She has experience working with people of all age groups and abilities within the community as well as in a clinic setting. Michaela is passionate about helping her clients improve their quality of life through exercise and celebrating the “small wins” with her clients while working towards their goals.
Outside of work, Michaela enjoys camping, walking her dog, and can be spotted on the ice playing hockey. Also, she enjoys learning new recipes in the kitchen and baking.
